Review: A Mouthwatering Meal at Zugo's Cafe

Local food writer Candice Merrill takes a trip to the recently renamed Sierra Madre favorite.

In a recent review published in the online magazine Pasadena Now, writer Candice Merrill wrote about her experience dining at in Sierra Madre.

In the article, Merrill calls Zugo's "a small café where you are treated like family and the people at the tables next to you are your neighbors; delicious aromas waft from the kitchen and there is laughter and music in the air."

Merrill also speaks with Sherry Grossi, who operates the small Italian restaurant with her husband Cesare. Grossi tells Pasadena Now that the couple's goal is to offer great-tasting, fresh food at reasonable prices.
