Gas Prices Fall for 28th Straight Day

Los Angeles County gas prices are the lowest they've been since February.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County declined today for the 28th consecutive day, dropping four-tenths of a cent to $4.207, its lowest amount since Feb. 23.

The average price is 3.5 cents less than a week ago, 17.1 cents lower than one month ago and 1.7 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price has decreased 15.5 cents over the past 28 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price also fell today for the 28th consecutive
day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $4.179, its lowest amount since Feb.
22.

The Orange County average price is 3.7 cents less than a week ago, 17.9
cents lower than one month ago and 3 cents below what it was one year ago. It
has decreased 16.6 cents over the past 28 days, including three-tenths of a
cent on Sunday.
