100-Degree Temps Expected This Week

Take precaution as weather in Sierra Madre gets even hotter over the next few days.

A look at the local weather forecast shows that the heat wave is continuing this week with temperatures climbing into the triple digits, according to the National Weather Service.

The coolest day this week should be Monday, which is still forecasted to top out at 90 degrees, and it will get hotter in the following days.

Here is Sierra Madre’s five-day forecast according to the National Weather Service:

  • Monday: Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the morning.
  • Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Tuesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Light and variable wind becoming south southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
  • Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
  • Wednesday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Light and variable wind becoming south southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
  • Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 97.
  • Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95.
  • Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64.

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
