Downed Power Line Deemed Culprit in 210 Freeway Fire

Small fire burned in a hard to reach area near the 210 freeway, officials said.

No structures were damaged in a small, stubborn fire Saturday afternoon, the result of downed power lines, officials reported.

Arcadia fire fighters, backed by Pasadena and United States Forest Service personnel extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes, according to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

The fire remained small but burned in, "a hard to access area between residences, the Metro Goldline right of way and the East Bound 210 Freeway," Spriggs said in a written statement.

The fire burned in the 700 block of San Luis Rey Road. No injuries were reported.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
