Stand-Up Comedy Coming to the Playhouse

Fritz Coleman, most famous for delivering the weather on NBC, will do a special stand-up show at the Sierra Madre Playhouse on July 22. Tickets are now available.

Fritz Coleman has made quite a name for himself during his near 30-year stint as a weatherman for NBC-4 Los Angeles, but he first moved to California with a dream that's shared with many young hopefuls who find themselves making the trek to the City of Angels... he wanted to be a stand-up comedian.

Though the weather has been his main gig for the better part of his career, Coleman still finds time to entertain audiences with his special brand of stand-up comedy, which is fully of witty observations and void of any insults or R-rated mentions. In other words, it's comedy for the whole family.

Coleman will take the stage on Sunday July 22 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $22 for students and seniors.

For tickets call the Playhouse box office at (626) 355-4318.

The Sierra Madre Playhouse is located at 87 W Sierra Madre Blvd. in Sierra Madre. Free parking is available behind the theater.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
