Saturday: Free Concert in Memorial Park

See the Pasadena Community Orchestra free in Sierra Madre's Memorial Park on Saturday.

Bring your blankets, chairs and picnics to on Saturday for a free concert courtesy of the Pasadena Community Orchestra.

The orchestra will be playing something for everyone, including "Star Wars," "Wicked," patriotic marches, classical tunes and even a surprising video game theme, as well. It's truly an event for the entire family.

The concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:00 p.m., but it's recommended patrons get there a little early to secure their spot in the park.

This free outdoor concert is an annual tradition marking the end of PCO's season.

PCO is a volunteer orchestra made up of talented local musicians who offer up their time for the joy of playing music for the community. They are supported by donations and grants.

For more information check out the PCO website.

Memorial Park is located at 222 W Sierra Madre Blvd., right next to City Hall.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
