'Cinderella' Extended at the Playhouse

The interactive children's musical "Cinderella" opened this past weekend at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, and performances have already been extended by two weeks.

This isn't Disney's version of "Cinderella." Gone are the animated mice and the old rendition of "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes." Instead, the version of the classic fairy tale feature original jazz songs by Jane Fuller and bit parts written especially for your children... no auditions required.

"Cinderella" opened Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Playhouse for the third time in recent years. The interactive musical encourages kids in the audience to participate, and has proved to be so popular that performances have already been extended by two weeks to March 17.

If you haven't grabbed your tickets yet, they're available by calling (626) 355-4318 or by visiting www.sierramadreplayhouse.org. It's $18 for adults, $12 for kids 12 and under.
