Last Day to Register for Whale Watching Trip

Monday February 27 is the last day to register for Sierra Madre's annual whale watching excursion to Long Beach on March 3.

The Community and Personnel Services Department is now taking reservations for its annual whale watching excursion, which will take place on Saturday March 3.

Sea and marine-life lovers who sign up will be treated to a two and a half hour narrated tour by knowledgeable Aquarium of the Pacific staff, a ride on a two-level charter boat, plus transportation to and from Long Beach.

Bring a picnic lunch, your family and your friends along for the ride, which will surely create memories for years to come.

Here's what you need to know: 

Trip Date: Saturday, March 3

Time: 10:00am - 3:30pm

Cost: $28.00 per person

Registration Deadline: Monday, February 27

Transportation leaves from the Community Recreation Center at 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd. in Sierra Madre.
