Pets of the Week: Winslow and Santino

These gentlemen are looking for new homes.

If you are an animal lover, whether you have pets or not, all are welcome to join the SGV Humane Society Bark Angels next Saturday, August 24 to help raise funds for the shelter.

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is a private, non-profit shelter that relies on funds solely donated by the public, adoption fees and clinics.

Join the SGV Humane walkers with your own pooch as they gather with other Bark Angels groups around Los Angeles.

San Gabriel Valley Humane Society: Clara Bell

Meet Winslow, a kind adult Cocker Spaniel who deserves a loving home: 

Winslow is all smiles. He always seems to be happy because that little tail of his never stops wagging and he can’t be spotted without a grin. He has not been neutered yet but will be once he finds his forever home. Winslow is estimated to be around 10 years, and is a medium sized 26 pounds.

The adoption fee for dogs is $120 for most breeds which includes: spay or neuter, basic DHPP and, Bordatella vaccinations, deworming, rabies vaccination and a microchip.

Pasadena Humane Society: Santino

Meet Santino, who’s disproving that black cats are bad news:

Santino is a very sweet male black and white domestic longhaired cat about 2 years old. He is playful, although a little shy. He enjoys his kennel and the toys in it. He has been neutered and can go home with you immediately.

The regular cat adoption fee is $70, which includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, the first set of vaccinations, and a free follow-up health check at a participating vet.
