Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA Opens New Animal Care Center

The expanded Animal Care Center for the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA offers affordable vaccinations and spay/neuter services.

Animal lovers in South Pasadena have something to look forward to with the opening of a newly expanded Animal Care center. The $20 million project is an expansion of the Pasadena Humane Society and the SPCA’s campus located on the corner of Del Mar Boulevard and Raymond Avenue. 

The Pasadena Humane Society provides animal control services for South Pasadena, Monrovia, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Glendale, and La Canada-Flintridge.

With pet overpopulation always a concern, a new spay/neuter and vaccination clinic performs 20 spay/neuter surgeries for dogs, cats and rabbits each day at affordable prices. Microchip services are also be available. Daycare and boarding services will begin in February.

The onsite pet store, Shelter Shop offering accessories and essentials will increase support for the animal care center’s services. Much needed underground parking can accommodate visitors and staff alike.
