Library Hosts Kids' Contest

Children have the opportunity to show or tell why they love the Sierra Madre Library.

Do your kids love the library? If so, they might want to consider entering the Sierra Madre Library's "I Love My Library" contest.

The contest, which continues through the end of the month, is open to all Sierra Madre students in grades K-8. Kidergarteners, first and second graders will submit drawings illustrating why they love the library. The older students will write essays explaining why.

Winners will receive cash prizes and will be invited to a 4 p.m. Feb. 14 event at the library. The winning entries will be posted on the library's website.
