Greywater Recycling Systems Among City Council Agenda Items

Here is a preview of the City Council meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Construction of Greywater system in Sierra Madre
Recommendation that the City Council provide staff with direction regarding the possibility of requiring installation of greywater systems in new development.

Employee recruitment/retention; Personnel rules and regulations amendment
Recommendation that the City Council receive and file the plan and adopt Resolution Nos. 13-68 and 13-69 to implement sections of the Employee Recruitment and Retention Plan.

Allocation of General Funds for capital improvement projects and/or NPDES/storm water compliance
Recommendation that the City Council direct staff to return with a resolution allocating the unassigned General Fund reserves in the amount of $870,761 for NPDES/Storm Drain expenses for Fiscal Year 2013/2014 and 2014/2015.

Online budget and financial transparency
Recommendation that the City Council provide staff with direction regarding whether or not to utilize OpenGov to provide online budget and financial transparency and data visualization for the City of Sierra Madre.
