Get Out! Giveaways, Theater and a Variety of Music

What are you doing with your weekend?

Another summer weekend is on the horizon. Have you made plans? Whether you’re looking for a lazy way to spend the day or a hopping night on the town, we have an array of events from which to choose. Enjoy!

 

1.

Where/When: Kersting Court, Friday, 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: Come on out for prizes and giveaways, plus fun events to be announced each week, hosted by the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce.

Pricing: Free.

 

2.

Where/When: The Coffee Gallery, Friday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Check out this traditional Northern Mexican spin to a host of toe-tapping music, from polkas to a Bolero. Reservations recommended.

Pricing: $18.

 

3.

Where/When: Monrovia Park N Ride, Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Clean out your old TV, computers, monitors, printers, small appliances and more, and dispose of them in this environmentally safe manner. Proof of CA residency will be required.

Pricing: Free.

 

4.

Where/When: Memorial Park, Sunday, 6 p.m.

Why Go: Bring a blanket and a picnic or purchase dinner from local food vendors offering an assortment of treats, then kick back and enjoy this concert under the stars. This week’s performance is Fairytales and Fantasy VI, with a musical theme.

Pricing: Free.

 

5.

Where/When: Fremont Centre Theatre, Sunday, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Take in a night of family-friendly, game-based improvisation that will keep you laughing.

Pricing: $7 online, $10 at the door.

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
