Photos: Family Movie Friday in Kersting Court

Friday evening marked the first of a three-part Family Movie Friday series in Kersting Court. Friends and families brought blankets cozy chairs and good vibrations to a Sierra Madre screening of the movie, "Puss In Boots."

The Family Movie Fridays series, made possible by donations from the Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Annes, Harman, Gallagher and Swift families, began this weekend in Kersting Court.

By 7:00 pm the scene was teeming with families and frolicking Sierra Madre youth. With blankets and lawnchairs on the ground and the scent of popcorn in the air, everyone prepared to enjoy Puss In Boots.

Family Movie Friday will continue on May 25 with a screening of Back To The Future and on June 8 with a screening of Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.

What are these "organizations that can assist educators in providing an additional incomeRead More source for school supplies?" What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
