Join your neighbors for a country-western themed evening of chili, music, and dancing at the recreation center on Saturday.

Grab your cowboy boots and hat and head on over to the Recreation Center for the Boot Skootin' Fundraiser on Saturday night.

This annual event, thrown by the Kiwanis Club, will have a chili cook-off, live music and a country western dance instructor who will to teach you how to get down, country-style.

Food critic Peter Dills will preside over the chili judging table, though anyone is invited to taste the goods. Two to three dozen chili dishes are expected to go up against each other, all entered by local businesses and residents.
