Chamber Names Marlene Enmark Citizen of the Year

The organization will honor Enmark at an award dinner Jan. 25.

The Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce announced Friday it has chosen Marlene Enmark as its citizen of the year for 2012.

The organization will honor Enmark with a Jan. 25 award dinner.

According to the Chamber's website, Enmark volunteers as a a lifetime member of the Sierra Madre Civic Club and with Friendls of the Library, and she is married to Harry Enmark.

The Chamber annually names a citizen of the year, a tradition it's held since 1966.

The award dinner honoring Enmark will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Sierra Madre Recreation Center. Tickets are $30 each, with a table for 10 available at a reduced price. Tickets are available at Bean Town, The Bottle Shop and the Chamber office.

What are the other "big retailers" besides Staples that are helping teachers with rewards programs? This is a great subject but there is little detail here beyond a link to the Staples program. Would love to read a follow up piece with more useful information.
