Yoga Nidra Workshop!

Yoga Nidra is the state of consciousness between sleep and wakefulness where the relaxation response and regeneration occur.  This healing practice relieves stress patterns by retraining the nervous system to relax, which creates a natural setting for the body to heal itself.  The workshop includes a beginning level asana practice to warm up the body, pranayama (breath work) practices, visualization and a 45 minute Yoga Nidra supine restorative guided meditation equally approximately 4 hours of deep therapeutic sleep.  Yoga Nidra research has shown that it heals psychological wounds, decreases symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, stress, depression, and the effects of trauma.
