Parent of Local Autistic Student Joins Patch as Blogger

Mary Brandenburg starts today by blogging about issues related to bullying, particularly in situations that include children with disabilities.

Last week Patch reported the , whose third grade son returned to this fall after nearly one year of home schooling.

According to the Brandenburgs, they were essentially forced to remove their son from the school following an organized effort by a group of parents to have him removed.

The story generated some and was widely read as it spread across Facebook, Twitter and by word of mouth in the local community.
